How early should I arrive for my appointment?
We recommend that you arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. Never rush a good thing, we want to ensure that your given the time and care that you deserve (and paid for). Life is busy, but when you come to visit us, we would like for you to wind down, enjoy a cappuccino or tea, and embrace some “YOU” time!
What if I do need to cancel?
We request 24-hours prior to your appointment to cancel and we’ll make sure you don’t incur any fees. If you book more than a 2 hour service on the same day that you don’t show up or cancel last minute, there will be a 50% cancellation fee. In the case of a no-show or last minute cancellation for a service that you booked in advance of the 24hr, you will be charged 100% of your appointment fee! Time is money, and we want to service each individual with care, integrity, and professionalism. Hair relationships are a two-way street, please treat it that way. Not showing up for an appointment or not giving appropriate notice impacts the salon and stylist, we all need to work to pay bills!
What if I don’t like my colour?
At Hair Dynamix we strive for each customer to be happy with their overall experience. Hair is very important to us, as it is to our customers – that’s why we are in this business! At Hair Dynamix we believe that consultation is the most important step to ensuring accurate results. As professionals, we strive to communicate how important it is to take the most realistic and healthy approach to achieving your beauty goals! In the case that you are not happy with your experience, we will take the steps to re-evaluate the process that was used during your appointment. Our goal is to have each customer happy with their end result, and will make necessary changed to ensure that.
There are limitations to re-do services to protect all parties involved:
-There are absolutely no refunds. Our goal is to build a long lasting relationship with you. Sometimes there are bumps in the road, however we would rather learn with you and make adjustments so we can give you the hair you want. Sometimes this takes time, but we are willing to be patient with you if you are patient and reasonable with us!
-Your colour is valid for a re-do up to 5 days after your service(s) was performed.
-You will no longer be eligible for a re-do service if you or another stylist makes any changes to the hair.
-In order to qualify for a re-do service you must invest in the recommended shampoo. With the purchase of any colour safe shampoo from Hair Dynamix your colour service is 100% guaranteed. This does not include shampoos purchased from other retailers or salons. If you spend time and money on a professional colour service and then use a “not” professional brand of shampoo on your freshly coloured hair, this WILL effect your colour and therefore your colour complaints cannot be addressed properly
-While in-salon having your colour or highlight service performed and the stylists recommends that you need a toner (charge is $50 & up), but you decide not to have the toner service, if you go home and decide a few days later that you don’t like your colour, it is more than likely because you really needed that toner. Just call us and we will book you in for a toner, which is a chargeable service of $50 & up
-If you have used a boxed colour in your hair and then come in for a professional colour service, we are not able to guarantee that you we will achieve you desired colour in one sitting. Boxed colour is very difficult to work with and not easy to break through, therefore it may take more than on salon session to achieve your desired colour. Additional toners, treatments and other necessary services will be priced (fairly) in each specific case.
